We already knew we were awesome, but now we have a ranking to prove it! Greenwood was named as one of the best private schools in Missouri in a recent article by the Kansas City Star. Schools were scored based on academics and grades, but other factors included culture and diversity, health and safety, clubs and activities, resources, and surveys of parents, teachers and students. We are also the only private school in our area mentioned. It's great to be a Greenwood Bluejay!

First Graders celebrated 100 Days of First grade with fun activities in the classroom. Students dressed up like they were 100 years old or how they would have dressed 100 years ago. Those are some pretty cute 100 year olds!

First Graders have celebrated Read Across America and Literacy with Mystery Readers! Dr. Ron Snodgrass read to the class on Tuesday and President Clif Smart read to the class on Wednesday. We will have three more guests Friday morning. Thank you to all of our Mystery Readers!

In the chemistry lab, it is sometimes necessary to experimentally determine the concentration of an acid or base solution. A procedure for making this kind of determination is called an acid-base titration. Ms. Gilmore’s Advanced Chemistry class demonstrates this valuable lab.

Kindergarten celebrated 100 days of learning and growing together by making shirts with 100 items on them! They also celebrated by jumping for 100 seconds, writing about what they will be like when they are 100, a snack with 100 items, and of course, counting to 100!
