Greenwood alumni, parents and faculty play a major role in the community of Greenwood with many serving as leaders and volunteers for special school programs. As outstanding experts in various fields, locally and across the country, they are often asked to speak at Career Days.
Community
At Greenwood, "community" is a word that fits in every sense. For generations, parents have been actively involved in their children's education and have benefited from knowing their children's friends and families. Students, families, faculty and alumni are all part of the Greenwood family.
During Greenwood's Centennial Celebration in 2008, many families from across our nation returned to campus to share memories and cherished traditions.
K-12 Advantage
Greenwood's unique K-12 atmosphere promotes a "legacy of learning." Our dedicated faculty and staff know every student, many throughout their entire Greenwood education. Secondary students often mentor elementary students and guide them to strive for excellence in the classroom, one of our strongest traditions. High School and Junior High students are actively engaged in the Springfied community through leadership activities as well as service and outreach programs.
